Be As You Are Series; Yoga & Meditation

Feb 6th – Mar 13th | 7:15 – 8:30 pm with Mandy Cochrane of Me Yoga

Located in Anna Gold’s Therapy Office at SOCC
Come home to yourself as you explore how to decrease reactivity and increase connectivity within your life.

Each week you will explore how to rewire your breath consciously, let go of old unhelpful patterns and wholeheartedly engage the present moment. Mandy will be using restorative postures as the gateway to reconnect the body and mind, as their disconnect is often the cause of our ‘autopilot’ reactivity. As the series builds, Mandy will introduce meditative tools to shift your unconscious patterning creating space & gentleness otherwise inaccessible.
Leave the series with the ability to apply the techniques to your daily life and a fresh connection to self. Accessible to all, no experience necessary.
The 6 weeks will build from a foundation accessible to all levels and progress based on the unique participants. These classes are designed to help bring space to the mind (breath), reduce reactivity (stress), and allow happiness to thrive.

About the Workshop:

Class Outline:

*Start in supported savasana (laying on back with bolster support)
*Short seated breathing to anchor from your day & Intention setting
*Restorative postures, sequence dependent on the intention
*Guided meditation & breath work that builds each week

Each lesson builds from the previous week, making it a step-by-step, accessible learning platform. This keeps the participant in a place of safety to explore their patterns/habits and make some genuine changes.

Cost:

Earlybird: $150+hst valid until Jan 27th, 2019

Regular: $199+hst

The commitment is to all 6 weeks, with one payment at the beginning, whether you can attend all the sessions or not. Please bring a mat, all other props will be supplied. If there is an issue with the weather, an assessment will be made and the class may be shifted to March 20th (a spare day in case of emergency cancellation). If this isn’t accessible, the group will discuss other possibilities however, Mandy is not responsible for any compensation if a solution isn’t available (but she will try very hard to make it work!)
